A gag gift for a birthday is way cooler than an ordinary, useable gift. Give the following gag gifts to your loved ones, and see how the person will love you more.
For the always late officemate, give him a backwards clock. Written in reverse, this clock will definitely drive your officemate nuts in no time.
For your conceited teenage sister, give her the laughing mirror. This is the mirror that will laugh every time someone grabs hold of it and looks into it. Your sister would definitely love you more when she gets laughed at by the laughing mirror!
Give fake cat poop to your obsessive-compulsive friend. Scatter it all over her bedroom floor, or, better yet, on her mattress to make her birthday complete.
For your love-sick aunt, give her the art of kissing book. So when she reads it, she gets to crave someone to do the kissing with. For additional fun, include the barf-scent breath freshener so she can enjoy her kissing moments even more!
Your long-haired rocker friend describes the bald head wig. This way, he can have the feeling of having a shaved head for a little while. Or maybe he can even pretend to be a hard-core punk!
The exploding lighter coupled with the exploding cigarette pack is perfect for your buddies who incessantly smoke every time you are together. Nothing will make their day better and your day more hilarious than playing this great prank on them!
If you want your loved ones to love you even more, make sure you give them meaningful gifts that will stick in their memories for the longest time. For that to happen, gag gifts are your best choice.
Having been a big fan of my own psp for quite some time I felt it would be a good idea for some of the newer PSP owners to be introduced to an awesome website that the rest of us know and love.
You see, I remember when I first got my psp. I was sooo excited. I couldn’t wait to explore its wonders. The wrapping never stood a chance. I just held it in my hands for what seemed like forever… it was love at first sight. The promise of endless psp videos, psp games and psp music had me drooling.
A few months passed by and I had completed the games I had bought and watched the videos I’d purchased and… my poor little psp started losing its sheen. It became close friends with the dust particles in my home and started looking very sorry for itself.
Seasons passed and new gadgets were bought. A new digital camera, a digital camcorder, an ipod (at last!) and my poor little psp sat quietly in my cupboard dreaming of its day in the sun.
Until one day, a friend of mine introduced me to a website that brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t known about it. Why had nobody told me?
That day, my psp was restored to chief gadget as I filled it up with the latest psp videos, music and games. And when I got bored of those, I just downloaded more! It was a never ending treasure trove of up to the minute media delights.
Me and my psp have not looked back since. I only regret those days I hadn’t realised how amazing my little psp could be.
If you haven’t discovered this website yet… then dust off your psp and get ready for psp download heaven.
Family Game nights allow you to bond with your family and just have a fun time. Here is how you can go about setting one up.
1. Find a time when everyone will be available
Were all busy, the first thing you need to do is to plan it in advanced. Ask other people when they will be available and make it a date to look forward too. Put a reminder on the refrigerator so everyone knows when it is.
2. Find Some Games to play
You can’t have a family game night without games, so try to find some games somewhere; you may only need a deck of cards. You could also ask around and see if anyone knows of a fun game that you guys could play.
3. Decide what snacks you will have
People like to munch on things. Putting out a few cut up vegetables, or some chips can be a great idea. You might even want to replace dinner with snacks at family game night, just to mix things up a little.
4. Decide if it will be in the family
You have to decide if it will only be in the family, so only people in your family will be there, or not. I like the fact of inviting other people. You can invite other people and see if your kids want to invite other people the more the merrier.
This also is a great way to meet who your kids are hanging out with.
5. Have Fun
Family game night is all about everyone having fun and making good memories. So remember to go in it with a positive attitude and be happy. Remember if you aren’t having fun it can rub off and make it so no one is having fun either.
I am sure you are just as tired as I am about hearing how terrible the current state of the real estate market is in Toronto, but is it really that bad?
No, the sky is not falling but there is no doubt that the Toronto real estate market has been affected by the US economic slowdown and because of this consumer confidence has also been affected … and some realtors have had to look for a "real job. "
The economic downturn in the states has no doubt had an impact on our economy. We are seeing fewer transactions occurring, (4,120 resale transactions in Feb '09 compared to 6,015 in Feb '08 according to TREB). Along with a reduction in the number of transactions that have occurred, average prices have also come down in comparison to the same time last year. According to TREB, in central Toronto the average price has gone from $ 404,202 (Jan, 2008) to $ 343,632 (Jan, 2009). Homes are also sitting on the market on average longer than the same time last year but what did we really expect? Did we really think last years wacky market of multiple offers and inflated prices would survive another year?
What does this real estate market mean to a Buyer or Seller in Toronto?
This is great news for buyers! This market is a blessing for first time buyers or those wanting home ownership but just could not afford it in the past. The declining average prices and the unbelievably low interest rates are a great combination! It's a Buyers market, so Buyers take advantage of this opportunity … it's a great time to buy! For sellers this type of market means pricing right and putting in extra effort to make sure your property shows at its potential. In the peak of the market, properties could sell the day they were put up for sale, now properties sit for longer but will still sell if priced right.
As we know, the real estate market is seasonal. As the spring market approaches all ready there is more activity in the city core than in the previous month. Just last week I was apart of two multiple offer situations in North York. Generally speaking the Toronto Real estate market tends to pick up in late spring and then begins its descend in July. The Canadian Mortgage and Housing Commission is forecasting that Toronto will see its 6th or 7th best year in history. They are hiring for 75,000 sales in 2009. The next few months will be a great indicator of the state of the Toronto Real estate market. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
